WHITE WIZZARD BIO

White Wizzard hails from Los Angeles CA. Tired of the same old down-tuned screamo metal that seems to be everywhere these days, Jon Leon formed White Wizzard in the summer of 2007. The goal was simple – to bring the songwriting, melody and good times back into metal and rock.

Jon then reformed the line up in early 2009, and they have just released the debut full length album titled “Over the Top” and it has been receiving rave reviews.

2 songs from the forthcoming album have been put up the band’s MySpace page for everyone to hear. With a screaming demon on vocals, a tight 2 guitar attack that can shred AND play with feel, thunderous melodic bass and drums, White Wizzard is poised to take the torch of the great metal bands of the past and look to the future with a dominating spirit and memorable melodic hooks and songwriting.
